Here are the FAQs from this week.

1. Does this work on Windows Vista?

Yes, it does. You might have to wrestle with other Vista issues but this download works just dandy.

2. I have windows but can’t decide between the windows version or the pdf? What’s the difference?

I would recommend the windows version if you have a pc simply because it was designed for a windows screen. The pdf version is landscape and designed to suit the more horizontal Mac screen. But it does fit and work on windows. I’ve tested it and had many others test it as well.

3. Have you tested this on a Mac?

Yes, I have. Our home has pcs and a Mac. I tested on an ancient laptop as well.

4. When I look at the outline screenshot, I see “development tools”. I’d like more detail on what that covers?

That section goes over which tools specifically work for which jobs. By that point in the tutorial, you would have defined your site and your goals.

So when you get to that page, you can narrow down which software or creation tool fits the job and your technical ability. I look at it not only from a function perspective but a marketing perspective. For instance, a tool that helps you get up there tomorrow may be great short term but 2 years from now you’ll still be paying a monthly fee and the SEO is lousy and the competition within that network fierce. So in the long run, it might not be best for your situation. But then again, it might be just perfect.
