While that may sound like a blatant exaggeration right now, it might not be next year. The point is there are new trends popping up all the time. Things you never thought of are all of a sudden become an accepted part of the culture. Things like texting. Would you have thought typing on a phone would be a huge teen trend 5 years ago? Do any “new” trends and words affect your particular target market? And how can you take advantage if they do?
If you sell books, the new handheld “readers” would be emerging trends to act on pronto. This would also produce additional words and phrases that weren’t common before. And if you are at the front of figuring them out, you’re going to mop up some market share whenever anyone looks for this phrase if you plug it into the right places on your site.
Pay particular attention to new acronyms, too. I’m not a big fan of these. But I’m not such a big naysayer that I refuse to use them. And I can be a keyword “ho” if it happens to me one in MY market. All of a sudden, I become an acronym lover! I do get them all mixed up and transpose the letters. (Part of my charm) But that’s another area to explore when considering keywords that could bolt you to the top simply because you acted the fastest and paid the most attention.
Trendwatching.com has a free newsletter that alerts you to the new trendy phrases. And they have one online. Of course. Everything is online. I would really like to have my teeth cleaned online. But clearly, my dentist is woefully behind the times.

The only advice I have to give to your readers is, 'DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME'.
Using webpreppro has helped me find my real market, organize a marketing plan and change my website to attract that market; a vital key for those wanting to have an online business.
